Liberal social media commentators are mobilizing support for abortion activists to demonstrate outside the homes of Supreme Court justices and in churches.

“Go to people’s homes. Go to their places of worship. Make them as uncomfortable as they try to make you. This is not the time for civility, this is the time for resistance and mass protests,” the cartoonist said. Jon Rosenberg tweeted in response to political commentator Bill Kristol urging people not to demonstrate outside judges’ houses and in churches.

Demonstrations formed outside the homes of Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and John Roberts over the weekend in response to a proposed ruling overturning Roe v. Wade which leaked last week.

The ‘Ruth Sent Us’ group, which bears the name of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, had called on abortion supporters to gather outside the homes of the ‘six extremist Catholics who set out to overthrow Roe’ and ‘se held at or at a local Catholic Church” on Mother’s Day.

The group added in a tweet on Saturday that the protesters “will burn the Eucharist to show our disgust for the abuses that the Catholic Churches have tolerated for centuries.”

Liberals and abortion supporters on Sunday denounced calls not to demonstrate in front of homes and in churches, with warnings to “expect more” and “watch the road and visualize what lies ahead”.

Demonstrations also formed outside churches. Video filmed outside the Basilica of Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan over the weekend showed a pro-abortion protester shouting “I kill babies!” while waving dolls near a praying pro-life group.

Conservatives have responded to the protests with messages saying they will pray for abortion activists.

“And we will pray for all of you. Even when you kill a child, you are his mother forever and it is also your day. These truths are inevitable. Happy Mother’s Day. See you at church today” , Matt Schlapp, President of CPAC tweeted Sunday morning.

Chief Justice Roberts asked the Marshal of the Court to investigate the leak and strongly condemned the case.

“To the extent that this betrayal of the court’s confidences was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The work of the court will not be affected in any way,” Roberts said last week.
