The events of the Trinity
First Saturday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, begins at 5:00 pm Sunday worship with Holy Communion begins at 9:30 am. . Masks are no longer needed, however, if you are not fully vaccinated, please continue to wear a mask over your nose and mouth for your own protection and safety. The Reverend Nancy L. Moore is in the chair. Vicar Sarah Moore attends.
Each time of worship includes a remembrance of âall the saintsâ when the legacy of love for deceased loved ones is honored with grateful prayers for their endless goodness, mercy, and God’s grace. You are encouraged to bring a photo of your loved one, tagged to identify the name of the deceased and the owner of the photo, by November 5, to be shown at the weekend worship service.

Weekly Sunday parish church classes start at 10:45 a.m. for students aged 3 to 6. Face masks are strongly encouraged for the protection of those present. In addition, weekly catechesis classes for seventh and eighth graders are held around this time. Sunday church school classes will not meet on November 21 due to the annual congregation meeting taking place at that time.
The Trinity Youth Group for Grades 7 to 12 takes place every Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Savor food, hang out and get acquainted with Vicar Sarah Moore, Youth Group Leader for 2021-2022. RSVP to [email protected] in advance. Include any food allergy or food restriction to prepare the right amount and type of food. Please enter and exit through the door on the side of the car park marked “Youth Hall”. Volunteer opportunities are available to fill a weekly schedule for an adult chaperone.
The Trinity Thrift Store is open without reservation. The shopping and drop-off hours are Wednesday 9 am to 6 pm; Thursday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donation deposits are accepted during store opening hours, up to a limit of five bags or boxes. The pantry continues to be open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (and the third Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.) with outdoor driving service and precautionary measures in place until 2021. Residents in need who reside at Lehighton School Districts are eligible to receive additional prepackaged food. Participants must remain in their vehicle when picking up. Pantry volunteers will assist pedestrians / those not in vehicles.
Those wishing to become members of Trinity, please contact the church office before the November 14 session at 1:00 p.m.
The instruction session on the sacrament of holy baptism is on November 21 at 1 p.m. Parents / guardians of a child wishing to arrange a baptism date, please contact the church office to register prior to the session.
A recall from the Campbellsville, Ky. Company regarding the steeple: it was removed in July for repair and restoration. The expected return is mid-December.
