Anne D. Krupa

Anne D. Krupa, of Warren, Pennsylvania, died Friday, September 30, 2022 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, Pennsylvania.

She was born in Roscoe, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph J. and Mary Bure Litavec.

Anne had been a resident of the Warren area since 1958. In 1955, she graduated from California Community High School. Anyone who has worked with Anne will tell you how hard she worked at whatever job she did. She held various jobs at Warren, but is best known as a billing clerk at Warren Radiology and Warren Pathology, retiring in 2000, after 24 years of employment. Anne was not only a member of Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, but also worked for the funeral ministry. She loved going to mass and often attended services during the week as well. Anne was an avid crocheter who loved making afghans for everyone. Anyone who owns one will tell you it’s pure magic. She also loved baking and cooking, especially during vacations with her grandchildren. Gardening was also one of his pleasures as well as talking with friends. People who knew her will remember her kindness and warmth.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank F. Krupa, whom she married on August 2, 1958, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Roscoe, Pennsylvania; two children: Karen Glas and her husband, Richard of Waxhaw NC, and Brian Krupa of West Dover, Vt. ; three siblings: Agnes Braunegg of Charleroi, Pennsylvania, Thomas Litavec and his wife, Chris of Fayette City, Pennsylvania, and Dorothy Reeves of Juno Beach, Florida; three grandchildren: Dr. Jessica Boben and her husband, Ken Boben, David Glas and Sarah Glas. She also has a great-grandchild, Kenny Boben, and one due this month.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Mary Krofchek and Susan Braunegg; and four brothers: Joseph Litavec, John Litavec, Fr. Edward Litavec and Paul Litavec.

Friends will be received at Holy Redeemer Church Gathering Space, 11 Russell St., Warren, Pennsylvania from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022. A Christian Burial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday in the church with the Reverend Stephen Schreiber, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery.
